Bureau of Outreach & Communication, a nodal agency handling advertising needs of all Central Government bodies, is planning to shortly introduce a comprehensive OOH policy covering different advertising formats. It is reliably learnt that the policy will be adopted to ensure seamless execution and monitoring of the campaigns released by the Bureau of Outreach & Communication. The policy will extend to the non-metro and semi-urban markets as well.
All media operators registered with Bureau of Outreach & Communication will be mandated to follow the policy. The draft policy is pending approval in the I&B ministry and is expected to be released in a couple of months. ―Media4growth
