Omkar Kore has recently joined ZEEL as National Head – Key Accounts (Ad-sales for TV and Digital). In his new role, he will handle top clients of ZEEL across TV and digital verticals, according to the media reports.
Kore is a Marketing, FMCG, B2B sales and Media professional with 21 years work-ex across organisations, geographies and categories.
Before joining ZEEL, Kore was associated with Star India for almost eight years in multiple roles. He had joined the company in September 2013 as VP-Sales following which he was elevated as VP – Customer & Network Revenue Strategy. Subsequently, he got promoted as SVP – Network Ad sales (West Branch) followed by SVP – Ad sales (Operations, Commercial, Capability, and Efficiency).
Prior to this, Kore has also been a part of Hindustan Unilever Limited for more than eight years and last served as Marketing Manager, Out of Home (F&B) where he was responsible for overall topline and bottomline of business; new product and channel development and GTM methods; develop strategy for sustainable future growth of various businesses – Vending, Bru World Cafe, Institutional Bulk Supplies.
