YuppTV launches in Kuwait

South Asian over-the-top (OTT) video and TV platform YuppTV has launched its service in Kuwait, ahead of expansion into other Middle East markets. The platform, which offers both live TV and content on demand, will be distributed in Kuwait by NHE for a subscription fee of USD 9 per month. The platform offers around 250 TV channels in Hindi, English, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, and many other Indian languages. In addition, it carries 3,000 on-demand movies in 13 languages. YuppTV also plans to roll out into Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, and North Africa soon.
