93.5 RED FM will be launching two new shows and RJs in the near future. This will be an addition to the already popular content and a team of fabulous radio jocks.
Confirming the same, RED FM COO Nisha Narayanan says, “We are hoping to launch some new shows (hero content) shortly. And as we launch them, you will see some newer faces as well.”
Backed by exceptional content and impressive radio jockeys, the radio station is quite popular for its audience connect. And, now with its entry in the digital space, RED FM aims to reach larger audiences.
On the existing RJ shows on RED FM’s YouTube channel and app, Narayanan says, “The response has been fabulous and very encouraging going by the number of views received, per day downloads of the app, which is an aggressive number. We have taken both Bauaa (RJ Raunac) and Nand Kishore Bairagi (RJ Kisna), which are already on-air, to the digital platform. Organically, all these content pieces clocked about million views within a week of launch as well. Besides, this on-air content, we also have some hero content like Ye Karke Dikhao.”
RED FM COO also comments on the difference in the response received by the already existing radio shows on the radio from that received on a digital platform, “The response has been fabulous. We have been able to add a newer audience to our portfolio apart from the already existing on-air followers. It’s very encouraging and heartening to see a newer audience, who has also warmed up to RED FM digital.”
“It works in two ways. We take a lot of on-air stuff and translate it or give an extension of it on the app. But, there are a lot of stand-alone properties, which are only driven by the RED FM digital platform,” she concludes.
