NENT Studios UK CEO Steps Down

Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT) said that Jakob Mejlhede Andersen has decided to step down as CEO of NENT Studios UK. Group president and CEO Anders Jensen thanked him for his contribution since his appointment in October 2019. Andersen said he has decided to “take a next step forward” in his career and was excited about what lies ahead, without giving details.

NENT said a new CEO will be appointed to its UK content production and distribution businesses in due course.

Before Andersen headed up the UK division, he had been EVP and chief content officer for NENT’s Viaplay streaming service and prior to that, EVP and group head of programming and content development. Telecompaper
