Kingshuk Mitra appointed as Star Sports ad sales head

According to unofficial sources, Disney Star has chosen Kingshuk Mitra to lead Star Sports’ ad sales division. Mitra takes over the position previously held by Ambarish Bandyopadhyay, who resigned from the company in March and is now the Head of Sales and Distribution at ESME Consumer.

Before this new role, Mitra served as the Chief Operating Officer, APAC at Essence Media. Earlier in his career, he held the position of managing director at Maxus, Philippines.
