IPL Chairman advises selling media rights for Women’s IPL prior to franchise auction

Media networks have reported that IPL Chairman Arun Dhumal has stated that selling media rights for the Women’s IPL before holding the franchise auction will enable potential team buyers to have a clearer view of the potential earnings.

As per Dhumal, rather than establishing a base price for Women’s IPL rights, BCCI is waiting for the market to determine the price.

From 2023 onward, BCCI anticipates earning approximately Rs 107 crore each game in the men’s IPL. Business World
