Inter Milan broadcasting revenues soar in first quarter

Inter Milan’s broadcast revenues have gone up for the first quarter of the 2023-24 fiscal year.

The largest jump in Inter’s broadcast revenues for the first quarter of this fiscal year comes from UEFA.

The club announce that the revenues from the Champions League have gone up €12.5 million compared to last season.

There are a couple of reasons for this.

First of all, there is the fact that Inter’s historical coefficient ranking has increased. This is of course the result of improvements in the Nerazzurri’s performances in European competitions over the past few years.

This has entitled Inter to larger broadcast revenues from UEFA.

Then there is the broadcast revenues from participation in last season’s Champions League final.

The Nerazzurri reached the final of last season’s competition, where they faced Manchester City.

Naturally, the Champions League final brings in significant broadcasting revenues, as the biggest club match in European football.

And in addition to that, Inter also did not have any revenues withheld by UEFA.

Last time around, UEFA withheld €2.5 million in broadcast revenues during the first quarter of the 2022-23 fiscal year. This was part of a €4 million settlement agreement that the European football governing body reached with Inter.

Not Just Champions League – Inter Also Record Increased Broadcast Revenues From Serie A
In Serie A, meanwhile, Inter recorded €1.5 million more in revenues compared to the first quarter of the 2022-23 fiscal year.

The reason for this is growing overall revenues for the league.

Overall distributable net revenues for the Italian top flight increased from €1.018 billion to €1.073 billion in the twelve month interval.

This meant that there were €55 million more between the clubs in the league.

Therefore, Inter’s earnings from that total amount increased compared to the previous fiscal year. SempreInter
