Hinduja Global Solutions (HGS) announced the voting results of the remote e-voting and voting at the meeting of the Equity Shareholders of Hinduja Global Solutions to consider and approve the Scheme of Arrangement between NXTDigital and Hinduja Global Solutions and their respective shareholders on Friday.
The resolution received the approval of 94.2567 per cent of the shareholders exercising their voting rights.
Speaking on the outcome of the voting results, Partha DeSarkar, Executive Director and Group CEO of HGS, said, “We are very pleased with the outcome of the convened meeting today. Our minority shareholders have reposed their faith in us and supported the Scheme of Arrangement with NXTDigital with an overwhelming majority. In February 2022, HGS’ Board of Directors approved the Scheme of Arrangement to acquire NXTDigitals media and digital business. The Hon’ble National Company Law Tribunal had convened a meeting of HGS’ equity shareholders on 2 September, 2022 to consider the Scheme of Arrangement. BusinessWorld
