Farzin Najmi joins Viacom18

Viacom18 Media Pvt Ltd. has appointed Farzin Najmi as Senior Vice President, overseeing Sports Technology and Chief Technology Officer for Enterprise IT & Business Process Engineering.

As the head of Live Sports Technology, Enterprise IT, and Business Process Engineering, Najmi will be instrumental in shaping the technological landscape of Viacom18, a major player in the media and entertainment industry under the Network 18 umbrella.

Najmi, with over two decades of experience in media broadcast technology and operations, has been a key figure in TV18 – Network18 Media & Investment since 2015. His leadership in the live news business, factual entertainment, and sports segments has played a pivotal role in the success of these divisions.

Najmi’s extensive expertise in broadcast technology and operations, honed through stints at major media companies including Star India, Times Television Network, and INX Media, positions him as a crucial player in implementing innovative solutions to meet the evolving demands of the industry.
