The SATCAB Symposium held recently showcased groundbreaking discussions on the future of broadcasting, centered around the Direct to Mobile (D2M) technology. Representatives from various sectors, including broadcasting, telecommunications, and government bodies, convened to explore the transformative potential of D2M and its implications for the industry.

The session, themed ‘Introduction of Direct to Mobile (D2M) and regulatory fronts on the broadcasting sector’, had distinguished panelists offering valuable insights and recommendations on D2M technology

Industry experts outlined revenue models for D2M, including carrier fees, subscription-based premium content, and targeted advertising. They emphasized the vast market potential of D2M, projecting exponential growth driven by diverse revenue streams and the expansive reach of mobile devices.
