Gütersloh Arvato Systems Vidispine, Germany, announced today that it has ported a variety of products to the Google Cloud Platform.
Ported Vidispine products include VidiCore, a media management backend, and VidiEditor, a browser-based production solution. Both are now run natively on Google Cloud Platform.
These products are now available directly from the Google Cloud Platforms web-based console and can be used to build the entire digital media supply chain natively in the cloud.
As more and more broadcast organizations are considering building cloud workflows, existing users of Vidispine products can now seamlessly access a wider range of Google Cloud services. For example, Vidispine users can now use Google Storage to build media archives.
“Arvato Systems is a long-time Google Cloud partner with deep experience in cloud projects, and we’re excited to use our media supply chain products and expertise to support the industry-wide move towards native cloud-based workflows.” Said Stefan Eckardt.
