Uniguest expands channel capabilities with acquisition of leading IP Video provider MediaStar

Uniguest, a global leader in digital engagement technology to multiple end markets, has announced the acquisition of MediaStar Systems (formerly Cabletime Limited), an IP video and digital signage provider to the professional AV industry.

Founded in 1984 and based in Newbury, United Kingdom, MediaStar Systems develops IPTV and digital signage software and hardware solutions. MediaStar technology allows its channel partners to implement and install professional AV solutions quickly and securely for end user customers.

Uniguest Chief Executive Officer Jeff Hiscox is looking forward to adding MediaStar to Uniguest’s professional AV offering. “MediaStar Systems is one of the best known and most trusted providers of secure and reliable IP video distribution and digital signage delivery. Adding the MediaStar solution range to our existing Tripleplay, UCView and ONELAN solutions adds additional capabilities to our offerings and ensures we stay the leader in the digital engagement market.
