TRAI New Rule Can Increase Cable Price by Rs 200 Telecom regulatory of India proposes a new rule due which your cable price could increase by Rs 200 or more. According to the new rule, now customers have to pay  Rs 140 as a fix amount monthly to access 100 free-to-air channels. Moreover, if a customer opts to subscribe for more channels then, he has to pay in between Rs 2 to Rs 19 per channel. Note than, on average most popular channels demand Rs 15.

According to a report my Mumbai Mirror, after this new rule your television cable subscription charge hikes to Rs 350 to Rs 500 per month. Moreover, popular Television broadcasting channels like Star, Sony, Zee, Colours likely to serve them as the Individual subscription channel. Mean on those 100 free-to-air channels you may not find this channel and you have to subscribe for them by paying extra money.
