Anurag Gupta, CEO of SVG Media, a digital media company from Dentsu Aegis Network has passed away. Sources aware of the development confirmed that Gupta suffered a cardiac arrest in his sleep last night. Gupta is survived by wife and two kids- one daughter and one son. He used to live in Sarvodaya Enclave in Delhi.
DAN had acquired SVG Media, a digital agency in April 2017. With over two decades in the industry, Gupta has had roles at companies like Asian Paints, Times Internet and in the past. He has been a part of the Internet space for over 15 years and was handling business for SVG Media which includes mobile performance (under the brand name SeventyNine and SVG Mobile), desktop branding and performance (under the brand name DGM), representations (Airtel DTH and Outbrain) and Columbus India. A founding member of ad network DGM India, Gupta scaled it to turn to one of the largest online performance networks in India. Prior to DGM, he has also been a part of Indiatimes.com for 4 years where he helped in creating and heading the subscriptions business.
