Star India to distribute TV Today Network channels in India

Star India has won distribution rights to handle TV Today Network channels in India. The channels, which compromise of Aaj Tak, Tez, and India Today TV, moved from Sony Pictures Networks India distribution to Star India with effect from November 1, 2018.

Star India has unable to have direct presence in the news broadcasting sector due to strict foreign ownership rules, so this will now give viewers access to news channels in Star India’s distribution bouquet.
