Planetcast Media Services, a global leader in digital broadcast technologies, announced today, that it has successfully delivered 17 high end DSNG vans as a part of service agreement with Prasar Bharati to expand their existing DSNG fleet. The fleet of 17 DSNG vans was flagged off today by Mr. Prakash Javadekar, Hon’ble Minister of Information & Broadcasting (MIB). The event was organized at Doordarshan Bhawan located at Mandi House in New Delhi.
Planetcast supplied HD DSNG vans will operate all over the country with homing stations in various states like Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Punjab, Rajasthan and many more. The present commission is for a period of 3 years with an extension caveat of another 1 years. Each high definition DSNG van is capable of handling multi-camera setup and provide seamless operations with automated hot switching. The DSNG vans offer enhanced playout/editing features and are self-powered for 24×7 operations, which is very critical for continuous live coverage in remote and hostile environment.
