BSNL launches new FTTH plans with free premium OTT subscription

BSNL – India’s largest fixed line operator has announced the launch of a couple of new Bharat Fiber (FTTH) Broadband Internet plans bundled with Free OTT subscription to a bundle of premium applications. SuperStar Premium-1 & SuperStar Premium-2 are the two newly launched FTTH Broadband plans by BSNL for it’s customers all over India.

These two new Bharat Fiber (FTTH) plans will be available to both the new as well as existing customers of BSNL FTTH services as a regular offer with immediate effect. It means, BSNL FTTH customers can choose this plan whenever they require without the problem of promotional validity limitations. SuperStar Premium-1 offer 100Mbps speed till 1000GB and post FUP speed of 5Mbps whereas SuperStar Premium-2 offer 150Mbps speed till 2000GB and post FUP speed of 10Mbps. Customers opting these plans will be offered premium subscription to BSNL Cinemaplus / Yupp TV Services without any additional cost.

Terms & Conditions for providing the above newly announced Bharat Fiber (FTTH) Broadband plans are given below:-

Bundled ‘OTT’ subscription will be discontinued, in case subscriber will opt out from above plans.

The quantum of realized revenue with ‘OTT’ service providers shall be shared as per agreement. BSNL will pay Rs. 99/- p.m. (excluding GST) for first six months of subscription by customers and Rs. 125/- p.m. (excluding GST) from 7th month onwards of subscription by customers after realization of revenue.

Since the validity of the bundled offer as per the Agreement done with M/s YuppTV is up to 31-03-2022, therefore, in the similar line ‘bundled offer’ under above plans is valid till the expiry of BSNL’s agreement with M/s Yupp TV.

BSNL corporate office has also directed it’s field units / telecom circles to comply with all regulatory mechanism including on line reporting to TRAI. It is also directed to update the circle website with these latest plans. Further, telecom circles / field units shall ensure to comply the TRAI guideline with respect to number of plans.
