Anil Jhingan Named Executive Vice President Of Corporate Development, EMEA & APAC, Discovery

Anil Jhingan joins Discovery as Executive Vice President of Corporate Development, EMEA & APAC.  He previously served as Group Director of M&A and International Development for Sky, where he played key roles in high-profile transactions, including Sky’s acquisition of Sky Deutschland and Sky Italia, as well as its recent public takeover.

In his new role, Jhingan will lead Discovery’s group corporate development function for EMEA and APAC regions, reporting to Bruce Campbell, Chief Development, Distribution & Legal Officer, as a key member of its global leadership team.  He will be based in London.

Jhingan brings to Discovery extensive corporate, commercial and business development experience gained during a career in the media and entertainment sector that has spanned two decades. Since joining Sky in 2000, he has held various senior executive positions at Sky plc, 21st Century Fox and News Corporation, based in Europe and Asia. A lawyer by background, Jhingan began his career in legal roles at DLA Piper and Hogan Lovells and earned his law degree at University College London. ―BCS Bureau
