Indian Pro Audio Industry Trends
Indian pro audio industry is fast changing and has started accepting the quality over quantity/prices. The customers no longer compare only the prices but they need features/quality/reliability. Based on the information available through Internet, they decide on the best possible solution. Infact, about two-three years ago, most of the end users were keen to opt only for VHF wireless microphone even with limitation on the spectrum/usage but now nobody even from remote villages/town likes to opt for VHF but only UHF. Similar is the case with regard to audio mixers. Most of the end users/rental companies would like to have mixers having USB options so that they could make better usage of the complete setup. As we roll further, I am sure that the Indian pro audio user would accept the best possible solution with complete service backup. To get the same, I am sure they would agree to pay a reasonable price for any product. The change in better quality product is also enabling the world wide manufactures to make products specifically for Indian environment thus the product meant for other territories would no more be imposed on Indians. |
