Detailing is the buzzword
In case of FM radio the music quality heavily depends on the sound card, audio ripping quality and proper audio levelling. There are various kinds of professional microphones, digital processors and digital consoles available in the market, which help in the delivery of good quality professional audio. The infrastructure for FM radio is divided into two parts, studio site and transmission site. Studio transmitter link is used to carry the audio stream to connect the two sites. To ensure proper transportation, best quality audio CODECs with proper configuration and links with required bandwidth, preferably on circuit switching are required. Configuration of the final audio processor at the final part, the transmission end requires tuning of transmitter and antenna. Avoidance of over modulation and appropriate power backup of equipment are other issues that need to be addressed. A large variety of pro audio equipment is available. Careful selection suiting every budget is important. Planning and testing also plays a vital role. |
